It's an opportunity to get rid of the politicians, the politics and the political system that's ruining Britain and ruining our lives. It's time to create a new party that works in everybody's best interests.

Today, political parties have a hard monopoly on what policies they offer. MPs and party activists call the tune. They set the agenda and select policies based on what
they think will attract the most votes. They're interested in what's in their best interests not yours or in the best interests of the country. We have to change this.

undermine democracy fear one thing above all else, unity.

We will fight for policies that are in best interests of all voters
and in the best interests of the country.

The Voters' Union will propose policies and reforms which are in your best interests. Political parties have consistently failed to adopt the policies and reforms we need, choosing instead policies which have been hatched with party activists to support their political agenda or promote their ideology. We will challenge all parties to adopt policies and reforms that are in your best interests. We will publicise their response to inform your voting choice.

The Voters' Union will ask the questions the mainstream media fail to ask, and question them when they distort the truth and peddle propaganda. We will question government decisions, actions and policies when they work against your best interests. We will challenge politicians to put your interests before party interests and question them when they don't.
We will demand that good words on Climate Change are translated into action and keep exerting pressure until they are.

The Voters' Union will expose lies and challenge those who perpetrate them. We will highlight misinformation and point out deliberate distractions. We will reveal the activities of vested interests, corporations and institutes who seek to influence political parties and politicians to put their interests before yours. We will expose the sources and the recipients of money used to influence. We will investigate and publicise the misuse of data to manipulate and change opinion.
We must take command of the narrative because politics
is about us, about our best interests.
It's not about the best interests of political parties.
Policies and Reforms
The Voters' Union is going to challenge all political parties to adopt policies and reforms that our members believe are in their best interests.

First off there are two reforms which have to take place before real change can take place. The first is to reform the voting system, ditch first past the post and adopt proportional representation. And the second is to reform party funding which is at the root of our corrupt politics.

We will ensure climate change promises are not broken and expose those who put profit before the planet. We will exert maximum pressure to remove the threat to privatise the NHS. We will force politicians to deal with the urgent issues they have chosen to ignore, the housing crisis for example, the reform of the tax system and poverty. Poverty is a political choice. It should not be a choice made in our name. We have to challenge that choice.

These are just a few examples of the policies and reforms we will champion. There will be many more. All the policies we champion will be approved by our members and coordinated through Voters' Union constituency branches.
All the challenges and the reforms we champion will be policies and reforms our members want and the country needs.
The Voters' Union will hold politicians and political parties to account and be a driver for change.

The Voters' Union is your voice
If you don't have a voice you have no power, - you're ignored - and right now you're being ignored. When you're a member of the Voters' Union you'll have a voice and you'll have power. You will never be ignored.
Voter power - we have it let's use it.
You don't have to wait until the next general election to exercise your voter power. Become a member of the Voters' Union and collectively we can use our power to challenge, expose and drive change. We can influence the direction of politics. We can apply pressure to see that we get the policies and reforms the country needs and that are in our best interests.
Political parties have a hard monopoly on what public policy initiatives are on offer. MPs and party activists call the tune. They select policies based on what they think will attract the most votes, not what's in the best interests of the people or the country. The Voters Union will pressure them to adopt policies and back reforms that are in the public interest, not theirs.
Our best interests and the best interests of the country are being ignored -
