My name is John McPhie, I'm the founder of the Voter's Union.

Every problem has a solution. Too often we become transfixed by the complications and complexities of a problem to see a way forward. Too often the solution is staring us in the face. We have to recognise the solution and no matter how daunting it may be, how impossible it may seem, we have to have the courage of our convictions and act. If we're bold, committed and determined, and believe what we're doing is right, new opportunities and possibilities follow. All we have to do is to be decisive and remain committed, and we can win the day.​
Britain is deeply divided nation on the verge of an economic and social catastrophe. It's been crippled by austerity, devastated by Brexit, and failed by incompetents.

​For too long voters have suffered a profound arrogance and a brutal contempt by elements of the political class and their political parties. It has eaten away at the foundations of our democracy which they have deliberately fashioned to meet their selfish needs and to ignore ours.

Making it happen
The size of our membership is hugely important. We exist for our members. They are who we are. Any success we achieve will be down to the efforts of our membership. Our number one task is to recruit as many members as possible. The more members we have the more effective we can be at election time, the more attention we'll get, the more effective we'll be. We're not going to be onlookers in the political process anymore, we're going to be part of it and to ensure it delivers the outcome we want..
Who we are
The Voters' Union has no political affiliation. We are an independent organisation run for and by our members - no matter what political party they support or have supported in the past.
For years political parties have sought to divide us. Division has created a smoke screen for their incompetence and hidden their selfish agendas. We have been pawns in their game.
It's time for voters to unite, to make change happen, and ensure that government reflects the interests of the majority.
